Behind The Veil

Behind the veil, behind the shadows,

Behind the black curtain of the night,

The human eye doesn’t perceive,

Nor does the ear hear,

Neither does the mind discern,

The evil that lurks in darkness.

For the children of man are led blind,

Holding on to the illusion of control,

All they perceive is darkness,

All they can hear is chaos,

All they understand is nothing,

And have no knowledge of reality.

They never know nor understand;

Life is more than what meets the eye,

The path they travel on is well carved,

Designed to keep them in darkness,

To the very day they depart from the world.
